Hi, does anyone else have the e-mail msg. that the licensing info will be sent in 48 hrs for the game guide. I used a credit card and everything else went well!

We have created an answer in our Support FAQ for people who are having problems obtaining the Virtual Families game guide.

We are checking into this, but probably won't have an answer for several hours, at least.

I got 3 emails immediately. One had a link to the guide and another was the receipt & then the activation code.

I haven't downloaded the guide yet as I've barely had time to play the game !!

I to purchased the game with game guide, but did'nt receive guide. The link said page not found.

Oh, I better check my link in the email and report back.

Edit. Followed the link in my email and have downloaded and saved the PDF guide. It's around 4.09 meg. Does that sound like it's the full guide?

I didnt get my guide either. I got the key and the receipt but thats it.

Okay I got a question. I know the first time that i clicked to buy the game I said I wanted the guide but I had to go back and redo it. My receipt says nothing about a guide but I'm pretty sure I asked for it. What do I do?

I was able to activate the game by viewing the email through Plimus after I purchased the game, but the email with the game guide has not arrived. I don't mind waiting for it, but I'm just a little confused.

I think the problem is your all using the same email provider. On Hotmail here, no problems

I got my game reciept and no guide link ?? Help please, I did add it, although I have not recieved an official email from LDW just the Plimus reciept...I will have patience if I have to *teehee* So far the game is a little slow but I have just started and the baby is still a baby, hoping it gets a little more exciting

which email does the guide come in? I got two emails when I first bought the game, but maybe I'm overlooking the link. Can somebody help me?

You should have 3 total. Check your spam/bulk mail folders to make sure it isn't in there.

If that's the case, the only thing I can recommend is getting in touch with Barbara, Carla or Arthur. I've seen another thread about the guide, so I'm sure they are aware of it. Sorry I can't help more.

Are you downloading the guide or only viewing it in your browser using the link? In order to have unlimited access to the guide, you must download it. Once you have the guide downloaded to your computer, you may view it an unlimited number of times.

To prevent abuse, the download links provided by Plimus (our e-commerce partner) do stop working after a set number of downloads and/or a certain time has elapsed. I will be updating our Support FAQ throughout the day today, and I'll make sure to get that question in there this morning. Please check later today for procedures on how to get the copy of the guide that you're entitled to. You may want to make sure that you have access to a good connection before trying to download it again.

We are looking at compressing it in a zip file to make sure that it's downloaded on the first access.

I received the email fine, but when I clicked the link to download the guild I got this error message:

Is there something that can be done so that we may get downloads of the guide, please?

I too did not receieve the game guide. I purchased the game and the guide and when I clicked on the link, only the game downloaded.

The link to the game guide is in a separate email. Please check junk and/or spam folders, since it seems to be ending up there for many people.

The email program I'm using sends through all emails regardless of if it would wind up in a spam or junk folder, and the email still hasn't turned up.

There is a chance that your ISP or other email provider have their own spam trap, in addition to any installed on your machine. If they provide a way of accessing your email via the Web, it might be worth checking there.

I've updated our Support FAQ with procedures for obtaining a replacement email.

Upon further thought, I realized that I didn't actually get the email that was my receipt or activation code, either. I got the code through a link to view the email.

EDIT: I was able to go into my browsing history and go to the page where I read the email with the code (through Plimus). Lo and behold, there was a copy of the guide email too! Yay!

EDIT AGAIN: Now I'M getting the "This product is no longer available" message! Ack!

I am having trouble downloading game guide from that site it posts.is anyone else? yes,I did write in to support,still waiting.in the meantime,how does one get their guy to answer the mail,I have done everything.,but it doesn't seem to get answered.hope it doesn't take long to get the game guide ,I could really use it.I am still learning these type of games.I am a beginner.but it looked cute & interesting,si I bought it.Any suggestions would be apprerciated. Hello I also didn't get a guide. I would check my spam folder but since I get in excess of 200 spam daily and clear it out every other day or so, there is nothing there before the 22 of Apr. Would be nice to have the link.
