So, let's say server time is 4:39PM, in your timezone is 5:39PM. To make the forum use your timezone, pick 1. 4:39+1=5:39.

I know it's a bad example, but it's a setting to make the forum display time in your area.

Hi Dusty , and welcome to the forums and i also had that same question u did......

Also, the time on our forum server is really never exactly right. Sometimes (rarely) it changes by an hour either way, and not during the spring/fall time change. If you want to see the post times be reasonably close to the time in your own time zone, just check the current server time on the preferences page and set your offset accordingly.
