It can be very tense when you're in that situation, but there is nothing that you can do to influence the gender of babies born into the tribe. The best thing that you can do for your tribe right now is to get everyone working on that new hut, so that you will have the ability to produce more children (as the food supply allows). You could wait until there is room in your tribe to make more babies, but that may delay things more than you want.
