my villagers are suddenly walking very very slowly, as if in slow motion. They haven't had any herbs, they're all healthy. The kids still run around, but the adults are sooooooo slow. Any thoughts?

well once the adults hit a certain age they will walk very very slow and its 24 hours your time

I don't think age is the problem--none of them are over 40. No, anyone 14 or older is moving as if through water. Extremely weird. I tried shutting all other windows. I tried restarting the game, then i tried restarting my computer, but nothing seems to help.

I found the directions for backing up a saved game. I think I'll try starting a new game and see if the problem persists. Nothing like this ever happened in VV2.

Most odd. If the kids were slow as well I'd suggest some other process was hogging the computer resources, but I can't see how only the adults can be affected.
