Hi everyone,

Just a simple question. I am currently playing VV2, and my village is in pretty good condition, except don't have any healers. I will not be returning to my computer for 2 days. Should I pause the game or should I keep it running? (More Tech points and food... etc.)

id say pause it unless u got unlimited food(fishing).if u can fish go ahead and keep it unpaused.

It's a risk leaving it unpaused, certainly, and only you can really decide whether it's worth taking. Personally I'd train up a villager to at least Trainee Doctor just in case. However, you might find that your villagers are perfectly healthy when you get back, and feel that you've lost the chance to gain more tech points/food. Of course, you might find them all, or nearly all, dead or severely weakened by sickness.

If you do choose to leave it unpaused I recommend training a doctor, and changing the speed to slow. They will still run, but it will be less chance of you loosing your village.

You don't say how many people you have, but with my abundance of caution and deep respect for Murphy's law, I always leave 2 doctors.. even if they've only just started training. Maybe the line that comes up sometimes when you open the game is etched on mind: If your healer is ill, who's healing the sick villagers?

I agree with bajantara! I always have at least 2 doctors.

If I leave the game more than 1 day, I pause it. In VV2, I don't like to let the fire going out because I think there is more risk of illness when there is no fire!

Unfortunately, my game reset just a few hours ago. I don't have any idea why, since I wasn't home at the time. Oh well, I'll just have to start again.

Well, on the brighter side, I'm already at 13 villagers, and have completed 7 of the puzzles!

I think a fresh start will be pretty nice!
