It seems VV2 requires around 40mb of free memory to launch. If I have around that amount the game will launch successfully. If not it will crash to the Springboard. I find that if I quit all non-essential processes and use sbsettings to free up memory I can usually get the game to launch. Maybe the iphone app can be written to do something similar before launch as to have a enough memory. Or perhaps take better advantage of virtual memory. As it stands, they could do better.

(note: i am on a jailbroken iphone so most users can't do these steps)
