Hi. I'm nearly up to the part to clear the ocean of algea. I need 90000 tech points to get level 3 farming but only have just over 31000. Would it be better to spend some on science. It says it will help villagers gain tech points faster but I'm not sure whether it would be worthwhile. Can some kind person please advise? Thanks

Actually, the science tech points do go up faster once you have the next level. IMHO, you might strain your little village trying to get up those 60,000 points. But with the Level 2 Science, it will go by faster to 90,000 than it would without the next level trying to get up 60,000 more!

I usually buy the second level of science 11,000 for faster tech points, and the second level of medicine 8,000 for healthier/longer lived villagers. Exploration and Culture can wait until the food supply is stable.
