Villagers cannot make babies after 50, so can they still work and if they can what is the age that they cannot work at all?

Villagers can work until they "move to the graveyard" although they tend to slow down when they get older.

That's not quite true. Male villagers can father babies right up to the end. It's the women who can only bear babies between 18-50.
