You can call me cheezfri. I've been playing FT since yesterday, but only a few actual hours. I've made all kinds of mistakes, and finally read practically every message in this forum.

I'm a cheapie -- I dowloaded the trial version and am still playing it. It's only supposed to work for one hour, but it actually works until you close the game. I'm flat broke, but will purchase the game legitimately on Friday when I get paid

My only question is, if I quit the game, and then purchase it, will I lose my saved games?

Your saved games should remain intact in the folder where you installed Fish Tycoon, so that shouldn't be a problem for you.

If you plan to close the game until the weekend, you should really change the game speed to "Stop Time" for all players first. If you don't, a lot of time will pass between now and the weekend and your fish may die.

I haven't quit the game at all; I just put it in 1/2 speed or stop time and minimize it. I was just wondering that because if someone accidentally closed it, would I lose any data. Sounds like I ought to be ok, and no one better close my game before Friday because I am now addicted!
