Hi all. New to the game and when I turned it back on there was algea all over the ocean and nobody would fish! Can someone tell me how to get rid of it please? Thanks

Welcome! The algae is one of the puzzles, and it will take quite awhile for you to get to the point where you can take care of it. There is another food source, but it's also one of the puzzles. You can find solutions for them by looking in our VV2 Guides.

Thanks for quick reply. Have checked where you said but I must be a bit dim or something. I had 3 villagers researching to try and increase my tech points but have only about 350. Two of my villagers have now died of starvation. How can I feed them with no fishing?

You must use the children to pick up the mushrooms in waiting of the 2nd source of food, which is:

Don't forget that if your game is in 2x speed, your villagers will eat more than in 1/2 speed!
