I am so glad I found this place. I have successfully (well besides whole tribe dieing once) got through this game with no hints, tips or tricks or anything. I do have a couple questions though. I have a steady population of 90 people, all tech is bought I have over a million tech points,I still don't have all my collections met..is there anything further than this? Is there anything to spend my tech on again or to build? Or to find? I was just reading the "things you say while playing" thread and it is so hillarious I almost died laughing! If anyone can fill me in on my questions I would appreciate it. Thanks,Amy

I also wanted to ask which one is better of the other two versions of this game? I am wanting to try one of the other ones and I want to know which one is the most fun and interesting. Thanks

Welcome Amy!

Although several people try as hard as possible to complete their collections I think most people start another game in a different slot once they get as far as you.

Click to reveal..
They'll look in on the original game every now and then to train up a few parents as the older villagers die off and the original parents get too old, and train up a few doctors. Also they'll switch villagers' jobs around to try to get as many elders as possible. In addition they'll bang the gong and of course get the occasional Event.

Other than changing your villagers' clothes, there's nothing else to spend your tech points on.

Hi there Arnie how are you?
Well it is kinda sad that it is all over with. I know that probably sounds weird but you work for weeks and then the points just add up and up and I don't really care to buy clothes and it is just sad..lol..I was hoping there was more like after collections were all gathered or something. Ok out of the other 2 V.V which one do you think is the best? Thanks for your reply!

Doesn't sound weird to me. smile Many of us get attached to our little pixel people!

Some of us try to build specific tribes when it's all over. For instance, maybe a tribe with all the same hair-color (takes careful breeding), or a super race of esteemed elders, or maybe try to get every single villager to master a particular skill (mine is healing). These are easier to do once you have the puzzles solved... and challenging enough once you have the maximum population. grin

Hope that helps! Have fun with it!! laugh

I think most people will agree that the VV games have improved with each version. The graphics are better, little glitches have (mostly) been ironed out, villagers have more varied and interesting actions, and so on.

I prefer playing VV3 for these reasons, although I enjoy playing both VV1 and VV2 every now and then, for a change. Of course, once VV4 is released (it's currently being developed) I'm sure that that will be the best-ever!
