I was wondering what the use for the aeriation system and the heating system was for, because i havent noticed any changes when i buy them. Do they help anything???

They will not make much of a difference for common fish, but if you're breeding fish that are too fragile to thrive in the Fish Environment that you currently have in your tanks, those tank accessories can help keep them alive longer.
