Hey everybody.
I'm new here, and I have a Q for VV2.
VV1 is going really great with lots of food, tech-points, solwed puzzels, villagers and so on.
And VV2 also did that until yesterday.
I have solwed 7 of the puzzels, have only 8 villagers and not many tech points, because I've used them.
The problem is, they created a dam, so that the could harvest the field, but because they dont have a farm, they can't construct a scarecrow, so the birds took all of their food and there's no coconuts left so their food bin is completely empty.
That way the can't make a stew or focus on anything but food. I only have about 2000 tech points, so they can't get enougt to make a farm, and there's too long time until new crops come up.
I have paused the game right now, until I have an answer.
Are they just all going to die, or is there something I can do?

The best is to make this scarecrow, so put villager at farming tasks. Don't forget that when a villager is only watering the crops he is increasing his farming skills!! to be adept, it will not last very long.

Also, put all your kids at picking up the mushrooms!

You're on a good way and they'll not die!
Don't forget to look at the speed of your game; In 2x speed, they eat too much!

Then, try to make your villagers researching to earn more tech points!

boy that is a tough spot, like lawrence says, pick mushrooms, and make points as fast as you can, you may need to sit right with them to keep them on track, it's tedious but you may bring them through. when you get a mushroom feed your youngest male and female so you can still keep going, with babies when you get your farm. good luck and hope you make it.

You don't need more tech points for the scarecrow, just let your farmer working on farming a little bit more!!

I have adept farmers, but don't I need farming tech 3 to make a farm?

Unfortunately all the kids have grown up, and they don't want to have kids when they're starving, so I can't use the mushroom trick..

And they relly dont feel like researching besause they worry about food all the time

I'll try and see how long I can keep them alive and then I maybe just have to start over..

VV2's technology and food path are different from that in VV1, so you can't go solely on VV1 experience to help you attain food in VV2. Since you have no children in the game and can't pick mushrooms, I would suggest that you solve the scarecrow puzzle, set some villagers to farming, set the speed to 1/2 speed, and then leave the game off for awhile. You have the farm, since you have completed the dam puzzle (the bird message was that the birds are eating the crops - which only grow on the farm).

When the game is off, the peeps don't worry about food or carry out other non-productive activities. You should have food in the bin after the next crop cycle (click on the farm to see how long that will be).

I have now made the scarecrow, so now I'm just hoping that they'll all survive until the new crops have grown.

They all died, so I have to start over what a shame, but there's nothing to do about it..
Now I think I'm just going to focus on VV1 and VV3 right now
