Is there any hints,tips or cheats to this game...?
As im having great trouble getting any further...
And Ive read that some are breaking records finding the magic fish,clearly im doing something wrong here,so if anyone can help Id be so grateful.

You really shouldn't compare yourself to any of the Fish Tycoon Guru's in here. They are as good as they are b/c they did the work and learned to play the game right. If you cheat at it from the start you will never learn all the little facts etc that 1) make the game fun. 2) help you advance in the game and finally, Why would you care about being on a leader board when you cheated your way onto it! It's not like you will ever be able to give anyone advice other than "click on this link"
I mean fish tycoon isn't a competitive game. It would be like cheating at solitaire. Your only cheating YOURSELF.
Trust me I have been playing for months and in my best tank I only have 4 magic fish and have made $15,000. The fact that I'm still trying to find those other 3 magic fish and then worry about those 21 perfect fish is what keeps me interested. I know everyone has their own motivation and, people are going to cheat regardless but, personally I don't see the point of reading the last chapter of the murder mystery first. Your not going to understand a darn thing when you first read it. Then your going to skip 90% of the darn book b/c you already know who did it!

VI: my comment was in no way aimed at you. I was giving advice also from my point of view. Personally, it makes no difference to me what other ppl do. I was only stating that I feel it's more fun to figure it out for yourself. I also never said you compared yourself to a guru. I was simply stating that us newbies sometimes feel like were doing badly when we see all these ppl who have "beat" the game 10+ times and can now do it in a matter of hours. If I offended you I'm very sorry. As I said before I was merely giving advice from another perspective.
