Wow, this version is a lot easer then 1.0. I’ve got one farmer able to keep up the food bin for 10 peeps. WOW. 1.0 it took one farmer for every 4 peeps or so. And I’ve got a 40 year old still in perfect health! I’m play’n the med difficulty. I’m assuming people are now able to complete all 12 puzzles on the hard difficulty now. Can’t wait to try that!

Good question. For the peeps who had to cheat to get all 12 I suppose this is good, no doubt. It will most defiantly make it a lot harder NOT to be able to finish the game. I have not seen all the hints the game gives you to complete puzzle #12 so that would be the only item we need to look at to determine if they have made it completely Idiot Proof. :c)

I actually had a harder time feeding my villagers in 1.1, but it occurred later in the game than before. I'd cleared the beach, restored the magic garden, and had a second generation just starting to grow up when the crops went away. It took them forever to come back, and all the food was gone! From then on until I got harvesting 3, the crops came and went at erratic intervals, and some of my villagers actually died of starvation. I also had to keep an eye on the ages of the villagers, not wanting to overpopulate the village beyond its food capacity, but not wanting them to die out completely. It had been so easy in the beginning game that the difficulty now completely caught me off guard.

Hey Phillip, what level were/are you playing at? I am currently supporting 16 people with just two farmers. Four puzzles solved and are fully researched on farming. Just wondering, although I do recall the field never going to a growing cycle, but I figured it must have been doing that when I'm not attending to it.

Well, for this game I have been playing eversince I installed v1.1, I have set it to Medium until I solved all puzzles. Then I set it to Hard because it's so easy, so I set it harder to get more events.

I achieved 3rd level Harvesting pretty fast, so food was never a problem. And when one of my 1st bunch of villagers died, a bunch of kids came with the bundle of babies. So I had more than 7 villagers even when my first hut was not fully constructed! By then I already had 1 or 2 females nursing.

I was pretty shocked that I was able to breed some more even when the 2nd hut was still under constructions. I thought the limit before 2nd hut was completed was 15 people.

At one time, I had 66 people on the island and I was a bit surprised because I thought we were only allowed 65. But I wasn't able to get 66 again after the earliest villagers died off, I think! Are all these "bugs" or the new features or events added in for v1.1?
