Hello! I am pretty new to plant tycoon. I was play frequently for a week or so and then a NASTY ice storm came through and we lost power for several days. I am back online and back to my plants. At night when I am done with playing I pause the game. However, when I come back, sometimes, just 5 hours later, the game is still paused and all of my plants are dead. I have to unpause the game to play, so I know that I am pausing it. Has this happened to anyone? Does anyone know why this happens or what I can do to prevent it. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

i think it just does that cause u had it paused so long

Well, finally I found it!

There is an explain in the FAQ: I paused my game overnight, but my plants all died. Why did that happen?

Since you're playing the Mac version, there may be more to this than meets the eye. Could you tell us exactly how you are pausing the game? Using the Options screen or the space bar? Do you leave the game running after you pause it, or are you quitting? If you quit the game, do you use Cmd-Q or the menu to quit?

Instead of pausing, you should go to "OPTIONS" on the main page, click on it and select STOP TIME. Then the game will be exactly as you left it.
