my villagers are so lazy they will be an adept say bulder and try to go do laundry when it says they dont like laundry its so wierd. has this happened to you?

I have a bunch a lazy bones in my tribe but i`ll get them into shape.

uhhh the lazy villagers drive me crazy....... I hate it when they go do laundry or go swimming or something .......

What I'd like to know is - where are they GETTING the laundry???

Each villager has only one set of clothes, and they're wearing it! Even when they bathe, so it should be clean! They fish in it, bathe in it, swim in it...

Maybe it's all those baby blankets?? But what if there aren't any babies??

Maybe they are future tribe members clothes, but how do they get dirty

i kinda make them work like crazy i have 3 esteemed elders and every1 has almost all 5 skills mastered im working on healing and parenting witch is both adept

Maybe they've all got several sets of clothes, all the same design; we just never see them change?

Maybe the nursing mothers spend the first two years making clothes in the same fashion, but different sizes for their kids.


I tend to super-micro-manage the lazy ones. They will learn a skill or else. Now, I don't always make them work in their skill. Sometimes I just use them to make babies once they have their skill in hopes that the trait will be passed on. A couple of times I've gotten a lazy villager to become an Esteemed Elder, though I've yet to make one a JOAT.

LOL yeah they can do laundry but they can't pick up a mushroom to not starve?

laughing, it was very quickly into the game that I recognized villagers that seemed to resemble some of my employees! Incorrigible and lazy.

There is one other thing you guys are forgetting. The mom's will change their babies. Those diapers need washing, no? It's not like they can run to the store and get disposable ones, right?

I notice that my "lazy" villagers apparently didn't get enough of the right kind of skills when the Chief was teaching them. (If we're talking about the ones who laze around the firepit, that is.) I generally teach them to fish. You know what they say - give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you can generally get rid of him for an entire weekend!

On the other hand, if you're talking about the occasional villager who just WON'T learn - I teach them one thing, because that's all I have the patience for.

I do notice that most of my VV3 villagers have ADHD. "I'm going to research. No, I think I'll go watch the fish instead. Nope, changed my mind again, I'll go help on the building project. Nope, relaxing in the bath... at the beach... getting a drink of water..." etc. Can't hardly keep them in one place.

And when I've left the game running and come back - everyone is either gathered around the food bin, or holding a village meeting in the ocean. What's up with that??

Sometimes when I come back to the game, almost all of my villagers are either at the foodbin (before I've gotten fishing), or out in the ocean (after I've gotten fishing). Then when I turn the game back on, all of a sudden this mass of people "discover" that they're supposed to be doing something else!

I wonder if they're talking/complaining about the Guiding Hand??

They're probably saying, "Uh-oh! The Guiding Hand has reappeared in the sky! We'd better go back to work and look busy!"

I hear ya virtualruler! One time I caught two of my master scientists doing laundry,both at the SAME TIME! As always I put them right back to work!
