Farming takes a while. Coconuts, low on. and Algea in the water (i figured out that, just not enough tech points.) and stews arn't working out. if i can't get my food up, my people? dead. gone. etc. Please help.

You can also pause the game whenever you can't actively manage it and search for mushrooms and collectibles when you're actually playing. You'd be amazed at how much extra food and tech points they can provide when you stay on top of it.
