hi, sorry if I am in the wrong place. I have a special request it is really important: I don;t know why but doesn't have any black (African) village in this game,so please, could you help me to have a black village, adult or kid (both would be perfect) so I can play as African Nations? thanks very much, I do appreciate. In Virtual Villager 1, 2 or 3.

There is one mod made by Jazzo that has darker skinned villagers. You can see it here. To see a discussion about skin tones, look here.

LadyCFII:it's me again. Please be patient, English is my second language, so forgive me if I say anything inappropriate, or wrong grammar written.OK, I got the MOD you said, installed but now when I begin Virtual Villagers 2(the original game) it begins with the Jazzo's Mod characters, even the tribes names, etc..So, if i save, I overwrite the ones in the VV2 .Any idea what I did wrong? (The icons of both games are the same, so I think they are mixing the files)You can delete this message as soon you answer me.Thanks, I do appreciate any help.

I'm not sure that I understand exactly what is the difficulty that you're experiencing. A mod does "overwrite" the original images in the game. So, if you installed Jazzo's VV2 mod with the darker-skinned villagers, they will replace the lighter-skinned villagers that were originally in the game. If that's not what is troubling you, perhaps you could elaborate for me?

Well, maybe I did everything wrong.I opened a new folder in my computer, in the same directory as VV2 is, called Virtual Villagers 2 -Indians and there I unzipped the Mod, cause I wanted to use both games as much as I want it.I didn't know the mod should overwrite the original. Thanks, for all your help. Can I not use both, separately as if it was two different games?

Unfortunately, if you want to use one of the image mods, you must replace the corresponding original images. The game is able to use only one set of images at a time, and all tribes share those images.
