Hi! Things are moving and looking very promising. The status is still on 38% because we are writing the game for both Mac and PC and we had a couple of issues with the Mac part... A couple of teasers: We will certainly have new Island Events in the game infact we even have an Island Event Submission Thread and we will take the best (and implementable)ideas from it. Also, you will be able to name your own villagers if you want! For now that's all I can say!

Aw I sorta wish you didn't do both just so PC would come out faster but it wouldn't be nice for MAC ppl. Is everything okay now? How long do you think til it's ready to play??

Me, I can't wait until it goes on the Windows Mobil platform. I've sacked my Palm and moved to an iPaq, and I did not think I would miss VS so! Dummy Me! I guess that is why I'm the Village Idiot! :c)

I suspect that the Windows version of Village Sim will be like the Windows version of Fish Tycoon in that regard - the registration code structure will be completely different from the PDA versions. In that case, your Palm registration code will not work with the Windows version.

Just a quick question. Will you have to buy the windows version if you have already bought it for palm or will you be able to download it and use your registration code from your palm version?
I’m sure you will have too. But it is only fair to compensate the developers for their extra time. The story will be the same, I’m sure, but it is a different plat form and new code will have to be written. So even though it is the same game, other then the story line, they will have to pretty much start from scratch. Besides if they were not able to recoup their investment, what incentive would they have to do this for us? I know, I know, they love us, and want to make us happy, but they still have to pay bills.

Yes, we are adding some new things, like many more island events and the naming of your villagers (and some other stuff). Also,we will have new graphics all over. You will not be able to use the same code for Palm and Windows, but we always give a nice discount to our already registered users!
