I've solved all the puzzles, have all the tech levels, have 65 alive and well villagers, oodles and gobs of food . . . what's next? Am I still waiting for something? Are they going to get rescued? Or is it over and I'm still watching them for no real reason?

That's what I wonder. If something else is going to happen or if this is it.

What you decide to do depends on what you like about the game. Once you complete all the puzzles, there aren't any more 'official goals' left in the game. There are still many more island events that you haven't seen, which will change the circumstances in the game - and many of them present some interesting choices to make. There are also a lot of villager behaviors that you may not have seen unless you've spent a fair amount of time 'peep watching.'

On the other hand, the village can get pretty crowded in the later stages of the game, and many people start over to try some new strategies, or play the game on a different setting. I've played dozens different games and chased some fun challenges that I set for myself - like solving Puzzle 12 after the first two puzzles, or finishing all of the puzzles (except Puzzle 7, of course) without any of my villagers dying. There are many interesting things to do with the game!

After I have played the Hard game once and solved all puzzles, I left the game as it is on Normal realtime hour. I also experimented with breeding. That is on v1.0 when I can use Village Sim Editor to edit the skills of the villagers.

With v1.1, I have just completely one game and recompleted it again. So far I am leaving it as it is to observe new features built into this version. Either it's me or it's the new v1.1 but now the builders are always kept busy and thus their skills are never obsolete. But as v1.0, there was no more for the Scientists to do but to learn new skills.
