eep! I hope you're not suggesting buying the game in order to convince MT players to check out VV?? If that's not what you meant, then what did you mean?

What I believe Lovelychunks is suggesting you do is to download the free trial so you can give valid comparisons of the two games so that if anyone asks what My Tribe took from VV, you can easily point them out from first-hand experience and not just from other people's explanations or reviews. People are more likely to listen to what you say if you try that game and tell them that VV is better (with specific examples, i.e. user-friendliness, graphics, etc.) than if you don't try the game and go by what other people say (some of which may be misleading or incorrect). Chunks, if I misinterpreted what you said, sorry!

I, for one, am thinking on sueing whoever is selling a.k.a. supporting " My Tribe." Unfortunately, I'm only ten, but I'll see to it that my mum & dad hear about this outrageous scandal!

lol, i have to say you take it a little to seriously. Anyone can make anything they want. They don't use the same graphics or any copyrighted material, then they can make it. Its the same idea as movies coming out to rent that are very similar to ones coming out in theaters by almost the same name just a word or a couple letter off from the original title. Its a money making scheme to try and earn revenue from somebody else's obviously better work. It will always happen. The best thing you can do, to protest, is to not talk about it, not buy it, and leave it on the wayside where it belongs. The more you talk about it and bring it up, the more people will go "oh what is that" and go get it My 2 cents.

I think that, considering that we ourselves are not LDW, and the fact that there are teeny tiny differences in My Tribe which would make it hard to sue, I think that what we are doing, by not just saying 'No' to buying it, but letting people know that it is clearly a rip off of VV, means that word will go around, and not only consumers, but reviewers as well, will take a second thought before buying My Tribe, and giving it a thumbs up for origionality.

Okay, we've tried to show the MT forumers the major similarities between VV and MT, but they are saying there is no problem with it being similar. It's like making an enjoyable song, and someone "remixing" it with out the musician's permission. Eventually, people end up looking at the new remixed version. I don't think we can really change the minds of other forumers on the Grubby Games forum, they prefer the new remixed version instead of the old.
