Hi, I have played vv1 vv2 vv3 plant tycoon and fish tycoon since they came out and first off I'd like to say THANK YOU for the great games...they are the BEST!!! Now on to ONE of my questions. I did a search at this site and have come up empty handed pertaining to my question. I have been playing vv3 since it came out and have checked back here for possible answers to my situation. I haven't messed with my computers time, NOR have I installed any mods, BUT, There is a huge discrepancy pertaining to my nursing womens time and actual time. While the trees and the fire seem to be on time, the nursing women seem to be nursing for 200 or so minutes instead of the 123 as stated at fast speed. The nursing timer can be adversely affected by a number of things. The most common of them is pausing the game a lot, such as many people do to help them get multiple kids on collectibles. That can prevent the nursing timer from counting down correctly, since it doesn't operate on 1-minute increments like the fire and the trees do. Depending upon game speed, the timer is updated anywhere from every 3 minutes to every 12 minutes. Frequent pausing can have a dramatic effect on nursing moms.

As long as the timers are counting down, the moms will eventually wean their babies. Adjusting the computer's system clock (either intentionally or by the operating system's automatic adjustments) will cause the timer not to count down at all until the game and system clock are back in sync.
