ok a newbie questions and one i can't find an answer to.

Anyway my question is how can you heal people, i move a village to the sick villager and it say's they are embracing even with the same sex, i have healed some villages this way but when i need to heal someone like an elderly villager it say's embracing and its annoying.

At the moment i only have seven adult villagers and the doctor is nursing a child so she can't heal anyone, the male doctor keeps embracing everyone i send him to and the female i'm training to be a doctor she's a trainee but she won't heal anyone either.

I hope this doesn't sound dumb, but are you sure the villagers are sick, not weakned? Otherwise when they are weakned you can't heal them. I hope this helps.

If they are weakend, continuosly try, even if they are a trainee. Sometimes villagers do that. Plus, check your male's preference, did you put him on parenting?

MMG weakend villagers can't be healed by doctors, they have to eat to get better.

H is right. If the villager is weakened, they won't be healed, even though their health bar is low.

Oh my mistake, if they are SICK. Of course this will happpen if your villager is weakend! There are various ways to increase the health of a weakend villager but only if the villager is sick then they can be healed.

It's okay I just thought I would correct that.

LOL, thanks guy's that explains everything. I didn't look to see if they was sick i just assumed after seeing their health meter wasn't full that they was sick, i guess if they are sick they will do things like sneeze and/or cough etc will it tell you on the panel or in the details screen if they are sick?

I lost my first villager aswell over night so sad because he was only 21, i forgot to put the game on half speed, i don't know why he died i was presented with a skeleton upon loading the game.

On my test game i was presented with four skeletons but they all died of old age so that wasn't to much of a problem is their anyway to find out what they died from?

It will tell in the detials screen by their health bar. If their action says "Not feeling well" they are sick.

As for your second question, how much food did you have when you found the 21 year old? Also did you have a doctor? He could have died of illness.

In VV1 and VV2 you can find out why a villager died, but you must do it before the log file is erased. You can see more details for VV2 here in our Support FAQ.

It will say sick next to the villager's health bar. They also begin to walk slowly away from work to get water or food.

He either didn't have enough food or he was sick. I'm afraid your oldies died of there old age or is they were sick and hungry as well.

Thanks again and i had just under 900 food points at the time, and it can't have been due to running out of food since i could no longer fish and the only food supply was the coccanut tree i was building the dam at the time.

The sad thing was the 21 year old was training to be the new a doctor i like to keep one old one middle aged and one young at all times if i can, this way if i ever forget to slow the game down i have doctors covered normally i have three to four doctors but i haven't long started and i hadn't introduced any children yet not till the food suplly was more stable.

Again thanks, i will be sure to make a copy of the log before starting the game ever day so i can check up on it if anythin g like villagers die etc.
