I know the chief gets magic powers- like (spoiler) and (spoiler)

but is there anything else he/she can do? oh and i know about the pointing too...

The best is to click on the ? of the Leadership technology, it will tell you what does the chief in each level.

Also, he directs the villagers' work and that makes it going faster. Just put him on a task as for working and you'll see on the "Action" line at the bottom, that he'll direct the work!

It's him who put in place the 3rd key. (See the VV3 guide for that )

Maybe there is other things that he does but the most important are here and at the ? of Leadership.

Yes the cheif does the 3 that you mentioned & directs work although when I put a chief to direct something I dont think he makes progress or efficiency any better ?

I think the villagers are more likely to work than to goof off.

My villagers also seem to stick to their jobs at least a little better when there is a chief on the job!

I can't say I've noticed much difference. All the chiefs I've had are far to soft on them for my liking.

Ho do you make the Tribal Chief grant food?

Drop the Chief on the food bin.
