Anyone know? I have the first two, and really love them. Want to have my mom get me the third one for Chritmas.

Not for awhile. You can see Carla's statement here.

if it takes a while for retail box versions to be released, perhaps LDW could sell gift cards for $19.95 ?

to encourage people to buy gift cards direct from LDW, maybe include a small gift. for example, a small plastic tribal chief figurine in a sitting position that could be placed on the top forward edge of a monitor so it looks like he is sitting up there watching the action!

bigfishgames went one better than this. they sent me (and i'm sure a lot of other game customers) an 8 inch tall green plush stuffed animal in the shape of a big fish (their logo - free advertising!), and included velcro stickies so i could attach it to the side of my monitor.

it was made in china, so my guess is that it cost bigfishgames only pennies to manufacture.

the chinese velcro was inferior, so recently bigfishgames sent everyone replacement velcro (real velcro brand too!).

it doesn't have to be a tribal chief. it could be a plastic keychain with the LDW logo (free advertising!) or a plastic figurine of a golden berries plant or a plastic fish from FT.

and for folks who already have the games but want the figures, sell a boxed set of them.

There's already some stuff available from LDW - not as a gift though; you need to buy it. wink

See http://www.cafepress.com/lastdayofwork

There's also a thread about it: Last Day of Work Gear.

Is that because they give away plush fish animals?
