That's not likely to happen for me because I usually leave the ROD to last, even after the clothes hut. That's because:

• there's no need for it until someone dies;
• it's useful to train new builders.

I have I think got to 15 plus the clothes hut in the past.

Sadly Waikiki my oldest vilager died today age 74

Yes, she was young. Some can live to 90+ so she died young.

It is strange though as my chief became chosen when he was age his 25 or 27 yet I did not get the Award for him ruling the tribe for 50 years yet acording to my culcarlations he been TC for 64 years???!

I think it's one or the other.

I think there's a little buglet in the game relating to that award. Several times I've been sure that a chief had ruled longer than 50 years yet I didn't get an award, and I've got an award when I've been fairly certain my chief didn't last that long. In a way it seems to even out ...

I thought It might have been a bug or something
