They're talking about setting the system clock on your PDA forward, so that you don't have to wait for the fish to grow up in "real time." That works on any of of LDW's real-time games, but you have to be careful about how you set the clock. If you set it too far ahead, or cross AM/PM boundaries without taking that into consideration, you'll kill everything in your game.

In addition, most people use their PDAs for more than games, so messing with the system clock causes problems with other applications. If you're only using your PDA for games, there isn't much of a downside to changing the system clock.
