Just in case this is a spoiler I am not sure on this one here is my tip

Sometimes you won't get events that will save your tribe. If your tribe isn't saved and you have to start over, it's best to try to keep from getting into that situation in the first place. If you manage your tribe well, making sure to check them every day and always have enough food and young tribe members to create the next generation, you won't have to hope for an event to save them.
