I've got one guy whose dislike, from the very beginning as a child, was listed as working...and sure enough, I can't get him to do squat. He eventually became adept at the one thing I could get him to stick with, but every time I turn around, he's cooling his feet, enjoying the pond, admiring the gong encasement...anything he can do to get out of working.

Is there anything to do for villagers like this, or will he just be like this his whole life?

And...am I the only one who wishes we we could just bump off villagers like this? LOL

It is mostly the villagers that are doctors mostly don't do a squat doing them things, so I put them to fish if I had event took all the food, then just keep putting them to fish they get the massage in the end.

In this case, Ann, we're talking about a villager that has 'work' as a dislike, which makes them less industrious.

They're like that their entire lives. Though there are certain stews that will shorten their life expectancy.

I have one that as lazy as they come. I can put him on a task repeatedly and he is still "unsure what to do". If I leave him to tend to something/one else, he is in the pond every time.

I had one girl, who I forced to work. If I remember right she became a master of two things in the end.

I had this one villager that had working as a dislike and it took forever just to make hima trainee! But but the time he was in his 60's, he became my 14th Esteemed Elder.

uhh the villagers who dislike working are so annoying they dont do anything .....

My lazy villagers in VV3 usually lie near the fire. I keep practicing them in the lab but they don't seem to learn.
