does anyone know how long it takes to run the level 3 environment and food on 2x

It really doesn't depend upon time and game speed as much as it does upon earning the money necessary to purchase those upgrades. The amount of money that you earn depends upon how many fish you are breeding and selling, and how valuable the fish are. If you find more valuable fish to breed and sell, you will be able to purchase everything sooner.

I think wikistar is asking how long the research takes once it is started...

What I just did was start the level 2 food research at 1/2 time before leaving for work. Hopefully when I get home, it'll be complete.

But I can understand people who are watching the games more frequently being impatient waiting for the research to end.

Well, on 1/2 speed it took about 12 hours to run the level 2 food research...

So 2x speed should take about 3 hours.

i think it takes 4 hours on double speed

Yeah, I bought the Level 3 research on food and environment as well as the level 2 research on advertising while on 2x speed. and they all finished in 4 hours.
