Hi, I am new to this game and am getting to the point where I will be able to breed all manner of fish because I will have level 3 for my tank environment. I have been reading on these threads about the concept of "perfect fish". What exactly does this mean? What makes "perfect fish" different than other fish? Do they fecth a higher price then the same fish type with an alternate fin type? I do understand that perfect fish are not the same as the magic fish. I also understand that breeding to perfect fish will produce anoter perfect fish. But how did people stumble upon this concept of perfect fish in the first place? Thanks for your help.

There are several threads (and dozens of posts) that contain discussions about the "perfect fish." Since you're registered for the forums, it's very easy for you to do a search for them. Just go to the search page, type the word perfect in the keyword field, change the date range to 1 year and click the Submit button. Voila, they're all there for you to see.
