I have never posted a picture on a forum and I have been trying all night, but I cannot get the photo to appear smaller in the post. I have tried resizing and cropping it on photobucket, but it still appears gigantic in my post preview. How do I make it fit the screen?

You can find out how to resize an image on Photobucket by referring to this tutorial on their site. \:\)

I have already tried this kind Lady, and the image appears smaller when I view it on their page, but when I add the link here and preview the post, the picture is so large that it does not fit on the screen. What could I be doing wrong?

That's a problem. Are you positive you saved it, and have you tried making it smaller during picture editor?

Did you try this option from their tutorial?

Quote:
Click Save a copy at the bottom of the page to create a new image in your account, with the modifications that you made. Photobucket recommends this option if you want to keep your original image unedited. Click Replace original to save the changes you made to the original file in your album, replacing your original.

If you resize it, save it, and use the correct link to it, it will appear here the same size that it appears on Photobucket (assuming you are viewing both sites with the same browser setting).
