Honestly, I wouldn't miss it much, though I've been away awhile. This place is primarily a forum, with a shoutbox as backup, not a shoutbox with a forum. It's a cute toy but if I really want to chat, I'll boot up mIRC rather than log in here.

It's something that people have said a lot in the shout box, usually in all caps.

Caps I think I'm a bit dim on that subject

I'm glad the SB is coming back new and improved! I love all the ideas about an LDW family, and I hope with these new rules around we can make it work.

One suggestion I have for those who enjoy role playing (and I do sometimes) is this. Meet here in our sb, then if someone wants to start a role play, the participants could move to Jazzo's sb.

I've looked at his sb, and it is perfectly functional, just not as convenient since you have to open it in a separate tab or screen. For those with large monitors, you could do a split screen and watch both at the same time, but it doesn't work as well on smaller monitors.

and also, Lady, I read the shoutbox rules and the last one kind of had me stuck. Could you define the role-playing games that are played in the SB? I think you mean the ones like this for example:

// goes to eat a cherry cake//

then someone else might put:

// snatches cake of becca//

Is that the role-playing behavior you mean?

I tried saying Hello in the shout box but it made my computer chash. I was only writing and noticed that it was on caps so before I was going to send it I tried to delete the words, so I could put it in lower key then an error report popup came and I knew I must of done something wrong.

I restarted my computer to see if it would slove the problem. I left it for an hour, then tried again to say 'Hello' I just writen up to 'Hel..' and before I could type the rest of the word the same thing happened again. I am wondering if I might have done something wrong? I hope not!!!

PS. I just said hello so it must have been a technicul problem on my pc phoee
