Ah, that is a sweet poem. I am a dog-lover but I am a little disappointed today.

My neighbors dog came in my garage this weekend, snatched our cat from my kids and fatally wounded her...while the family watched...it was truely traumatic. I was not angry at the dog...he came and licked my crying face immediately afterwards...sigh...but I wish the owners would've trained or kept up with him better. They had allowed the dog to run loose and catch strays. Unfortunately, he couldn't tell the difference when it was a pet.

It is sad, and if the owners don't take care, the dog will suffer. As loyal family members they deserve better.
