okay, 29 people, 1-8 puzzle complete, plenty of food, all but medicine and spirituality fully researched. Need a hint on what to do next. I am lacking a master builder, (he died).

You will need to complete research on another Village Technology before your villagers can work on the next puzzle (number 9). If you're playing v1.1, you can train builders by having them repair the huts.

depends what you want to do next. If you want to complete Level 12 you'll need a master builder with fully researched 2 other areas. Or just opt for fully researched fertility and try for the GC.

I have fully researched Fertility so I guess I am lacking a master builder. Thanks for your help. I can barely keep track of all my people!! My real kids (lol) are making fun of me because I am so attached to my village, but they, and their friends, ask me when I get home from work "what new things happened on your island today mom"?

Puzzle 9 has to be completed before the GC will be born.

Oh yeah forgot that for a second.

Yeah you'll need to have one more fully researched area before starting the idol then fully research another area before the gc can be born. Thanks for reminding me Barbara

Okay, I have puzzle 9 done and have gotten my population up to 65. I have food again (after 2 typhoons, what a bummer that was). I am also fully researched in all 6 techs. I have some "worried about housing" so I can't get any women preggers, so no GC. Any hints?

Since you're getting the message about the housing when you try to breed (instead of a different message) you must be playing v1.0. Sometimes you have to wait a long time for the GC in that version, and there will be no birth until there's some room in your village. So, patience is about the only thing that will work!

If you want exact details pertaining to the remaining puzzles, please see the options in this post.

Hi. I have everything FULLY Reasearched, but now, in order for me to complete the 12th puzzle, I need a builder. I don't have a builder to train. I keep waiting for an island event, which I set to most difficult, for debris to wash up a shore so I can build huts and to increase my population to more than 65. What can I do to speed up the process? I have the old version, since I read somewhere that if I install the latest version, I would have to start all over?? (again, facts: I have fully researched all my Techs. I have 65 maximum population. and I don't have a Builder). How can I create a builder? Thanks.

The Island Event that you mentioned is the only way to train a builder in v1.0 once all of the construction projects have been completed. There are only 3 huts in Village Sim, and the message about a housing shortage has been changed for v1.1 to reflect that 65 is the maximum number of villagers for most Palm models. I do know that it's possible to complete the game by training a builder on debris - it just might take awhile.

I have the same issue. I have solved all puzzles but 12, and do not have any builders. I am not at the pop max of 65, i have 60, but am wondering how new villagers would learn construction. Is this puzzle not solveable by the GC?

The GC is a child and cannot perform 'ordinary work,' which is done only by villagers who are at least 14 years old. Builders can be trained in v1.1 by having them repair the huts that they have built.
