Mr Limpet is a character from the movie "The Incredible Mr. Limpet". It starred Don Knotts. He's pretty much a wimp, but loves his fish! His fondest wish is to be a fish, so one day "he falls into the ocean and is transformed into a fish. As a talking fish he assists the US Navy in hunting German submarines during World War II"....yea I know, it's a stretch, but it was made in the early 60s and really is a hoot! :-)
