I'm sorry if someone else has asked this, I did a search first but no luck.

I've been waiting for rain all day for the lift and it hasn't rained at all. It's been foggy a few times but no rain. Is it a glitch or am I being impatient?

It's not unusual for you not to see rain for a day, depending upon how frequently you're checking the game. Have you been staring at the screen all day, or just checking once in awhile?

I haven't been watching it constantly, but it's been on and I've been peeking as often as possible. I spose I may have missed it!

There is a puzzle you need to complete that deals with that...

Wouldn't it just be my luck... I feel dumb now. I just checked again and it was raining. I got the dude on the lift just in time!

Rain is sneaky like that!

I find it helpful to leave the game windowed and do other things; listen for the rain. In a window, you should still get the audio.

And I turn my screensaver to 999 mins

Screensaver? I just browse the web, make more graphics, do stuff computer-wise. I usually hear a storm in not too long. If not, I try again next time I have something to do on the computer.

EDIT: You should be able to set the screensaver to a maximum of six hours, if I recall, or just plain turn it off, temporarily.
