the same thing happened lady i got a screen shot the first 2 images are jpg images the tree overhand is a png image i wonder if that makes a difference you see, its just a white block oh and i followed the instructions to a "T"

That view looks fine. Notice that in the thumbnail it appears white against the white background but in the large version of the image at the top it appears pale blue? That shows it is transparent. Or at least it should be ...

That's exactly what it should look like. The transparency is fine, and it's appearing as ... well... NOTHING! Which is what it should show up as. When you copy it to the game's images folder, it will let the background show through there, too, which is exactly the point!
