I might be wrong, but I think Soda (a common VV2 name) is a word for soft drink. \:D \:D \:D

Pippa is also the diminuitive of Philippa. (lover of horses)

Bixa is derived from the Nahuatl word for shrub, and is a genus of plants. It is not a last name or surname, as far as I can tell. The closest is 'Bax,' a variant of Baxter, which means "Baker".

Atepa is apparently a Choctaw name meaning 'wigwam'. (?!?) A wigwam is a domed, single-room dwelling used by some Native American tribes. Here's a picture of one.

Weeka is something that I personally can't easily find. Ah well.

Soda may come from the name of a mineral, or alternately, a plant that when burned, leaves soda (the mineral) in its ashes. (Sodanum, in latin)

Swahili is a boy's name of Arabic origin, and means "Coast people".

Toto is a name of Swahili origin (weird) meaning "Little one."

Oro, as mentioned, is a spanish name meaning 'gold'. (Some sources list this as 'golden'.)

Salote, is surprisingly, a Germanic name, meaning "Free man."

Kalau is apparantly is variant of Kalu or Kaalu, and is a Hindu name meaning "Father of Nanak," who is the founder of the Sikh religion.

I would have posted here earlier, but was too lazy to look this stuff up. I'm also too lazy to write down names, so I'm just further investigating what I find here.

1) Any of various forms of sodium carbonate.
2) Chemically combined sodium.

See carbonated water.

Chiefly Northeastern U.S., Eastern Missouri, & Southwestern Illinois. See soft drink. See Regional Note at tonic.

A refreshment made from carbonated water, ice cream, and usually a flavoring.

Games. The card turned face up at the beginning of faro.

[Middle English sode, soda, saltwort, soda, from Old Italian soda, perhaps from Arabic suwayd, soda, soda-plant or suwayda, type of saltwort.]

I don't know if it's been posted about, but Aponi (which I've seen in VV1, I think) is a Native American name that means Butterfly.

I've gotten Waikiki, which is a place; Pinot, which is a type of wine; Panini, which is a type of food; Wasabi, which is that green paste you eat with sushi; and Kenya, which is a country.
