#17297 - 01/23/06 01:45 PM Timeline for events in game

I have just begun this game (what fun!) and have found a certain format to the timeline of the events . . . such as, the plans will sprout up after a certain number of months, then they will have pollen at around 24 months and then they will produce seeds at around 30 months . . . anyone else have any ideas as to timeline? What about seed production? Is there a better time to gather seeds so that you get the seeds before the plant becomes too old to sell for full value? Any way to know how many drops are in the fertilizer (I will run out after feeding a cheap plant and have none left for more expensive plant).

Your comments would be appreciated!

Cathy

There are 10 doses of fertilizer in each bottle, but you'll have to keep track of how many you've used once you buy it, since there is no indicator in the game.

Plants produce all of their seeds soon after pollination, and there is no reason to keep them once they have finished their seed production. You will soon become familiar with how long that takes. As you gather the seeds, you can click on the empty seed slot and see whether or not the plant has finished producing seeds. If it has, you can just go ahead and sell it to make room for more plants!
