When I hit the refresh key in the stats field the game freezes, this also happened when the game posted a notice I had found a new Magic fish. Anyone had this experience?

I haven't seen any reports of that kind of freeze. What version of Windows are you running, what kind of processor, and how much memory? That information would be helpful.

I notice the same problem on my slimline pc and my my "regular" size computer(both are Hp Pavillions.) Although, my computers freeze at random times not just when I refresh my stats. Both computers are new and are using Windows XP. My slimline has a celeron processor and has 512 MB of ram and My larger computer has a AMD Athlon 2.4G processor w/ 1G of memory.

What, exactly, do you mean by "freeze?" When I think of a computer freezing, it's locked up and usually requires a reset to get it going again. Are you experiencing total freezes, or is it something more transient?

Yes, it totally freezes up. I am unable to get it to respond in anyway unless i physically turn it off and restart it.

That's not good. Have you submitted a description of your problem using LDW's support form?

Hope you don't mind if I put in my two cents?

Were you running multiple applications at the same time, including Fish Tycoon? Once, I had six applications on at the same time, and my computer froze. (What? Six? Oh, try doing your chemistry labwork at home using MSW, Excel, and IE, and running Fish Tycoon and talking to friends on two different Instant Messenger programs!) Anyhow, since I normally run only four or five applications at the same time while I play FT, it has never happened again.

My computer is also a HP Pavilion (I think. The label came off a long time ago...) and it runs Windows XP. Just fyi.

My two cents? When I hit "refresh" my computer seems to lock up, but really it's just taking a while to communicate with whoever it's talking to.

Sometimes just give it a minute longer?

Is the Statistics server working now?

According to Arthur's update from yesterday, the stats server should be OK now.
