I am getting really frustrated with this dang statue puzzle, even to the point where I paused my game for a few months. Here's what happened:

All my builders died. I had a bunch of little kids and very few other adults. So, I had to put the dang puzzle statue on pause and wait for the kids to get to a working age. I did that, when they turned 14, I had them all working on huts until they got to a trainee builder stage, then have them working on the statue again. I have everything else I can do done, except collections and that gets real boring real quick for me. If I notice them I get them, but watching and hunting is just too time consuming. Anyway, the statue is a the curve at the top of the path, and the timer is no longer showing up. If I minimize or leave my game running and check on it occasionally the chief leaves...every time. So I have to sit here, watch and make sure they stay on task. How long until this thing is done, I love this game, and the series, but this is ridiculous.

Alright, I feel like an idiot. Found patch and related discussions, nevermind... I even did a search in this forum for "statue" and no related posts were found....weird...

I guess I don't think clearly when frustrated...LOL

Did you get it working? I have found the villagers work better when I'm not watching. Your pic shows that you are very close. If you have the latest patch, it should work...though it takes time. Having a healer helps too because the chief will walk away to be 'concerned for the sick'. Hope its working out!

It seems to be working now! YAY! The timer shows 3hrs24min last I looked. So close!!!!

You probably wouldn't find any posts about the statue if you didn't change the default search range to more than 1 week.
