First of all, I scrapped the space one for now.

Just throwing this out for anyone to comment on, maybe give some ideas.

Prelude:
During a heavy unnatural storm, a group of settlers gets separated from a larger group heading to the new frontier; the west! The storm destroyed their covered wagon, leaving only a pile of wood behind. A small lake nearby gives them plenty of clean water to drink, but they still need to find shelter, food, and a mayor / sherif to lead them.

for the most part, i have my own ideas for many of the objects / puzzles.
collectables:
feathers -
turtle shells - coal
sea shells - gold dust / nuggets
tablet pieces - ?
alchemy - ?

things i'm not sure about:
statue - ?
bath - ?

Maybe they could find goose feathers for quils, and as for the statue, you could have a villager that looks like a cowboy and create your own story about him. I hope this helps.

This West idea is great!

That sounds cool.I downloaded Blast From the future mod for VV1,and they used the huts,statue,and plants from VV3,scarecrow for garden from VV2.Maybe you could do something like that,and call it BLAST FROM the west.I love any game that takes place in the old west days.Good luck.

You have got a great idea but what would you use for draft animals, range animals or food animals? There's no limit to what could be substituted for collectibles or plants accessing all the images offered in all the games. Also, would you include Native Americans and artifacts? What about housing? Log cabins, sod duggouts, animal hide huts (teepees) and clothing!! No sane western female sashayed around town in such immodest attire as our beloved villagers do now....Gracious, nobody owns so much as a palm leaf hat much less the de rigeur sun bonnet or parasol.

Please don't interpret this as criticism. Nor did I mean to add to your creative burden. These concerns just started as a minor landslide and are now escalating beyond my control...

Hopefully, you can draw out some of this forums premier modders to add insight and assistance. I've got my fingers crossed!
