The mods you are having trouble with are images (.png files), not zip files. To use those, you need to right click on the attachment and select Save as... (rather than the usual method of downloading a zip file). You will also need to remove the attachment number from the front of the file name. For example, change 4857-pot.png to pot.png, save it to a folder on your computer, and then copy it to the images folder.
