sorry, I can't remember which post it is in but, i downloaded the overhang mod to help with collectibles.
unfortunately, either i did it wrong or there is a problem with the mod
when i replaced the overhang with the mod, all i got was a big white block.
needless to say i had to change it back.
thankfully i had backed up the images.

also i need to know how do i back up my game?
i thought i saw a post on that once, but now i cant find it.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
and honestly, i am not being lazy, my eyes are crossed from looking for the post

The information about backing up VV3 games is here.

The images in that mod (which is probably Tuna Puzzler's mod) are fine. I've checked them out myself. Are you sure you didn't examine the file in an image editing program that doesn't support transparency and accidentally save it? That would cause it to be a white rectangle. Downloading it again and copying it directly to the images folder should fix that problem.

That's very strange. It sound like your system is not downloading and saving the file in its original form.

I'm curious, if patricia is still paying attention; is it a big white square AROUND a modified image? This would be what I'd expect if the image were re-saved without transparency support. Or is it a white square, period, no image at all, just big white block o' doom?

I assumed that it was all white, since one of the images (the one for the tree overhang) is completely transparent. It would be all white if transparency was not preserved.

Why don't you try the mod again, following the instructions in this post exactly, and tell me if you still have the same problem. \:\)
