Hi guys- well I have read the guidelines and I think all the references on this site re: "statue". I have the scaffolding and the plans but my chief is confused and needs more leadership. I have 3 "Esteemed Elders", 2-3 Master builder and some adept builders... I am placing my chief in pathway sorta on the grassy area - where do I place my peoples and what do I do when all they is "no" to me?

I am not trying to beat a dead horse but need a little guidance.

Sounds like you need to complete your factions first wait! I've just checked. you need the following:

1. The lab restored
2. Level 3 restoration
3. Level 3leadership
4. puzzle 8 (bath complete)
5. Master builder to do drawings first.
6. Take builder to build scaffolding, place chief at the statue and then get villagers on to satatue. Hope that helps.

when you say lab - you mean alchemy area or science area? okay wait a minute dont have 3 leadership but have all the rest.

You still need L3 leadership, by what your saying. Yes, the lab (science area) has to be complete.

The alchemy lab needs to be complete. The research lab requires L3 science to clean up, and is irrelevant to this puzzle. Hope this helps.

If the Alchemy lab is necessary it's because you need the "chalkboard" to creat the plans, so if you have the bath, you have the alchemy lab!!
I don't think the research lab is necessary for the statue's puzzle!

Exactly. What they asked was, which lab they needed to complete, the alchemy lab, or the research lab. The only answer that was given was the lab, the lab, the science area, and the lab. I needed to draw a distinction between the alchemy lab and the research lab.
