After weeks and weeks of trying to get that last piece I need I admit defeat & lack of patience and give up. I need a rare tablet piece and am so tired of sitting and waiting for it to show up. Since tablet pieces only appear once I don't even get to see a different piece appear. I am so frustrated at this point. Chief point out feathers, shells & corals over and over. I have wasted enough hours on this and am tossing in the towel. I am so disappointed....Is there a quitters group I can join?

I know how frustrating collectable can be, Aurora. When I was playing VV2, I had just one thing left and it literally took me upwards of 5 months to finally get it. Once I found that last piece, I cannot tell you the overwhelming joy I felt. It seems that when you are down to just once thing to finish a collectable, it is like the "a watched pot never boils" situation. Try not to spend to much specific time looking for it but instead, play with the village. Make some more potions. Change your villagers clothes, and every so often just skim by and see if your last piece has shown up. If not, Oh well... Just know it will show up sooner or later and the satisfaction will be great!

Yes I finally got my last puzzle piece yesterday!!!

I have been playing the game for months and suddenly there it was.

And started making babies as my population was raised!!!
And before I made babies I got my older elders parenting skills up!
And got several more Jack of All Trades in this game.

As Gamemastr1 said keep it going and pop in to play every so often and you will get it!

It looks really hard...I've never completed a collection, but I'm sure if you just play with your villagers and not look around so hard, you'll find it.

Congratulations MickTeddy! \:D

I understand how you feel Aurora, but I don't think you should try so hard. Eventually it shows up. \:\)

Alas, I too share your frustration. \:\( For this reason, I no longer play just to finish a collection. If I see one, I collect it, and if not...So be it. I concentrate on finishing everything else, and having fun with my tribes. I find this to be a much more enjoyable way to play! \:D

I deleted my magic tribe in error. Grrrrrrrrrrrr

So I now have 2 fledgling villages. 1 of each faction in potential as neither hve enough points to move that way yet.
Mind you I can use the tips and help I have found here to perhaps help me achieve my goals faster.

And when I had been playing my second game for about 10 minutes, setting up tasks and the hive etc, I had no collectables at all.
Finding so many of them in the other games first few minutes must have been a sheer and utter fluke.
And I only had 1 kiddie being flown around to grab them, plus the odd one by the child Chief!

Loc: the hills and hollers of Tenne...
I obsessively played my first nature faction tribe and thus completed all the puzzles, the collectibles and most of the awards far too soon to have really enjoyed the game. My second village (magic) is still not finished yet because I only play it when I want to have fun and really interact with their "lives". As to the collectibles...I know they will all eventually show up and I will exuberantly scoop up the nearest child and proudly watch them trot it up to the lab.
