And now for Ninja Penguin's story:

As it happens, that very night; the moon barely able to break free from the clouds which bound it in darkness, there was a sound. The beach was freshly cleansed from the high tide of the night; free from the impurities that were washed from the ocean's vastness. Free from all except for the sound. The sound was faint, but still broke through the silence of the night. This wasn't the first time the now elderly man heard such a sound but he knew what the sound meant and he knew he had to act swiftly. Cane in hand, he found the beach deserted and barely lit by any moonlight that was able to escape. It was that night that he met his last pupil. It was that night that he had to teach all that he knew. It was that night that a small baby penguin was found upon a dark moonless beach.
