Hello all, newbie here,

My wife bought this game last friday and we have been playing it all weekend long!! Love this game! But my question is how do you keep the health up of new babies? I have the research enviroment(2nd level),food research(2nd level),air thingie, 2 plants, heater, 2 tanks + selling tank. I cross breed the wasp goldbulb with the greenfin spotanus(magic fish) to get the crimson carp but the health bar is alway yellow and the fish dies when there about 16. I could never get them to grow to 20. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong or what I need to keep them healthy?

Many of the species of fish will not live to adulthood unless you have fully researched Fish Environment. As long as your fish are fed and not sick, there is little you can do to prevent the fragile hybrids from losing health. If you have plenty of extra money, the fish vitamins will temporarily increase their health, thus prolonging their life. The only permanent solution is to research Level 3 of Fish Environment!

Thank You! I use the vitamins first and the growth meds. Now I'll see what happens.

I can't keep the baby fish alive long enough to do anything!
You only get 200 dollars which is not enough to even buy the enviormental research. What do i do?

The vitamins will not prolong the fragile fishes life. When I tried, three different tanks, all the fish sparkle but only the standard breeds go to 100% health. The fragile breeds do not increse in health, and still die on schedule.

The vitamins do increase the health of fragile hybrids in my tanks - both babies and adults. Are you, by any chance, looking at a fish that's in the isolation tank when you use the vitamins? The vitamins don't affect a fish in the isolation tank.

You have to keep using them over and over, and (for some fish) it takes a lot of vitamins to keep them alive.

I realize that when you own the second tank and you put your babies in it they survive longer in level one
